Cool designs!! Can you change the color combo around? I'd like to see another color being the main color other than gold. And is it possible to find another lacrosse stick?
Is it also possible to rework the font? Something not so bubbly. I'm having a hard time seeing the wording...not sure if it's the color scheme or font. Thanks!!!!
Hey there thanks for the comments. When you say a 'less boxy' lacrosse stick, do you mean elongate the whole stick, or is it meant to have a rounder head to it? Or do you mean the style, like less of the rope part, or make the crossed over rope more round? Sorry we don't have lacrosse here so you'll need to explain that :o) The font may be the colour, or could be the double stroke, I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
HaHa - I think we'll have to get lacrosse in Australia for you. It is the BEST sport ya know!!! The best way I can describe a lacrosse stick is that the head of the stick is a bit more tappered in towards the middle of the head. The stick part could be a tad bit longer, but I think what's throwing me off is the head more so. The rope section for a boys stick compared to a girls stick is slightly different which is a problem when doing a gender neutral logo. But both sticks have what they call a shooting string which you have done perfectly at the top of the stick. The rope/mesh part crisscross & form small X's but not too many X's. If you search on google images the type of lacrosse stick you favour, then copy and paste the address at the top of the page into your public contest comments page, everyone will know what sort of stick you're after. There's so many on the images part of google but they are all slightly different in shape. We're not allowed to copy them exactly due to copyright but it will be similar (in different drawing styles of course). :o)
It does look like a great sport too! Looks fun. Is there many injuries? Like do people get hit by the stick? Is that a foul if they do? I should google the rules, too many questions too little time. haha.
Yes, you can get hit with the stick and it definitely hurts. But the sport is super exciting and so fun to play. I like your new entry #52. Can you give me a few different color combos? Like more navy blue & grey maybe? The green and gold is reminding me of a local high school around here and it's throwing me off. Thanks
I've done some more colour variations. I like the red. But I know it isn't what you were thinking of, see what you think anyhow, stands out more. I know what you mean about yellow and green together. My primary school wore those 2 colours together.. I'm not a fan, although I should love it coz it is the Aussie colours!
haha, everything you write on here gets taken literally. For example if you say 'I don't mind birds', you'll get a million bird entries. You should get more colour variations now that you've written you're open to other colours. I'll try maroon too, I like the darker red, I use it in a lot of design work ;o)
