Where did you come from!? That logo is awesome!! I have been trying to get a circular logo, but to no avail. You did it without asking!! Thank you. Can I ask for one favor? Can we see how it looks if we flip the hand colors? Meaning that the adult hand is lighter (but still more worn) and the younger hand is more tan? Thank you very much.
I have also been given some advice on seeing how the logo looks with removing the James 1:27 banner and placing "James 1:27" in place of the three dots.
Did you pull some submittals? I am confused! I like #74. Our in-house graphic designer at my work company says it is the most "contained" logo. #74 could very well win with two minor changes:
1. Could you flip the colors on the hands to see how that looks? 2. Could you flip James 1:27 and Golf Marathon? Put James 1:27 in bigger font up above and Golf Marathon in smaller font from 9pm to 3pm?
#81 is great! But, we need to have a color contrast between the hands. I would prefer to have the adult hand be lighter (but worn with age), and the child's hand be darker. That would make it a winner!
X-Ray, it is a dead heat now with #86. We have 8 people on the board and we will be voting tonight for the logo. Thank you for your work thus far. As I have said, your logo is the most "contained", so you will get some nods there. Where your logo falls a slight touch behind is in the contrast of the hands. Sommez has shrunk the hands down a bit (essentially from a 9 year old to a 5 year old), and he has a good color contrast between the hands. Is it not possible to flip the colors from the hands in #73, after shrinking the hands a bit? Does it look bad when you do it that way?
Maybe we can make the child's hand color in #73 (after resizing) and put it atop the adult hands that you already have in #86. Kids have less melatonin, so it would make sense that they are lighter, I guess.
You are the expert, but I just know the feedback I am getting from our board. Anything you can do to highlight the contrast in hands and size would be appreciated and improve your chances. Thanks!
We have voted as a Board and selected another design. Your design came in second. At the end of the day, the top design showed more distinction between the size and color of the hands. Thank you for your efforts. Wish I had better news.
