Here are some of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
I've started in its simplest form, monotone ... I've always been a believer if it works in this, it will work in colour. And also shows that it can work for things like newspaper print etc.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
Hi, Angus. We really like your designs. Of your entries, we are particularly drawn to Entry #14. This does give a nod to a more vintage look with a modern font. The words are a bit small to read in the arcs, perhaps a design would work better. ??? Please keep the ideas coming, you're on track. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback and comments, and glad you like them :)
No problems at all, would be my pleasure ... And here are a few new versions, experimenting with either bigger curved text, or designs elements; #54, #55, #56 and #57
I look forward to your thoughts, and of course if you'd like any other changes don't hesitate to ask.
Another version with #65 - adding a bit of colour, but also showing how we can simply add the different components that are at the Farm to the main logo, whilst keeping the overall look and feel.
A couple of ideas to bring and include an icon; #85, #86 and #87
The icon represents a few a things ... Firstly it has the initials of the name, secondly it has the link to agrarian lifestyle with the wheat/barley husk at the top, and lastly its all contained within a circle representing the community, all together under one roof.
This icon would also work well for things like watermarks, stamps etc.
