Also, I see others are using that fountain icon from the city of KC's official brand. I would avoid using that, as it might lead to legal issues :) I am sure you already know that though, as this is not your first rodeo by any means lol
I played around a lot with the level of realism and legibility for the fountains, and I settled on this! They are apparent and contribute to the entire KC vibe, but not distracting from everything else. I will keep thinking on other potential ways to do this that still jives with the rest of the logo.
Liking this one the most - wondering about colors. I like white behind the buildings like on #109. Maybe if the boarders to the shield were thinner, that would help too? I think focus on the purple with white.. and then if we could add in an element of gold? Like on the crown? But leave the banner a different color?
Also, wonder what it would look like to mess with the colors a little. I don't think Gold necessarily goes with our color scheme, but do think it says "royal" - so if there is a way to incorporate gold onto this without looking out of place, maybe in place of the blue border?
Can we see some more options for fonts on Royalty? Something that looks a little less "sports" like? Getting some feedback that it's not "royal" enough if that makes sense? Maybe incorporate icons into the letters where makes sense?
Oh nice... I love Gibson—use it quite a bit myself. This should pair beautifully with that. In fact, Gotham in the banner portion is very similar to Gibson. I can swap that out to Gibson for us to help maintain brand consistency moving forward!
Jake, very much appreciate your submissions!! I do like the more recent versions because of the simplicity of the font. We typically use Gibson, so as long as it compliments that font - it's great.
Our background will either be white or purple, so I like the versatility of the boarder is good.
Appreciate it! If you think of any other ideas or potential revisions, just drop me a message. Happy to keep firing up other concepts for you. I will also keep brainstorming myself in the meantime :)
Here is my idea for the branding for your upcoming summit! I think something very clean, bold and easy to read is the way to go here—you don't want to get too cliparty or complicated. This logo will look awesome on everything from large signage on down to small emblems (so many cool options you could do).
Also, as you can see from my initial variations, the white border allows it to look great on virtually any background color or texture (#70). It is very easy to do color adjustments on the fly.
I look forward to any thoughts you might have, and will gladly provide swift revisions as needed.
