I LOVE the characters and your take on them. Great details! and great choice of colors. Really nice!
Here's some feedback/comments/questions:
- Is there a way to integrate your logo to an emblem? Maybe the basic one (just the characters) inside a disc with the name of the company inside that disc all around? Or maybe the full logo (with the background) with Garderie Éducative in an arc at the top, and Maryse from left to right (straight line) under the grass (at the bottom)? Just ideas I'm throwing out there. Because your take on the characters is easily #1 until now. But I've received some interesting emblem ideas in the other entries (you can see them, right)? So I'm curious to see if you can integrate best of both worlds. Seeing how you're talented and that I love your style, I'd like to see what you can do with typography also and an emblem in general. You're in my top picks that's for sure.
- Can you 'soften' up the facial traits of the characters somehow?
- If I end up choosing one of your logos as the winner at the end of the contest, will you be able to provide me with a black/white (monochromatic I think? with shades of greys. For use in print in black & white) version of it?
Just to give you a clearer explanation: what I meant by 'softening the facial traits of the character' is similar to what the #1 ranked logo looks like. The lines in the faces are 'softer'. Hard to explain, so I hope you see what I mean, hahaha.
If you could do this & add the name of the company (Garderie Éducative Maryse) written in an arc around the characters (similar to what #3 ranked logo did), I think that would push your entry back to #1 position.
