On 1 and 2 the star and the box are the distractors for me. I associate the star with Macys department store. If you drew that one on the side of a building - as graffiti what would it look like?
Rem, #7 is a huge improvement...and don't give up on the swooping cross concept from 1 and 2. Are you familiar with the TV MA logo that they use before naughty TV shows - thats would be cool to somehow mimic in the EC box. Keep at it. Could you make one that fits inside an oval or circle also. Sorry for the rambling, you've got my creative juices going. :)
#9 thanks for trying - it looks like a cool church logo - but I'm going for more of a harder, raw edge. #7 is favourite so far. Any ideas about another concept that includes swords, shield, or explosions?...run wild. jw
Hi JW I have seen your favorite bible verse. Well i catch the idea about happiness and passion. Here in the new entries i've putted shield combine with sparkle visual to show the point of that Great words. I have tried the swords, but i think it's too rough, identical with fight and war. And i dont think so that the people will like it. BUT, everything is up to you JW, i'm just telling you about my opinion. I will do my best to make your great logo.
I like the layout for 21...is fits nicely as a banner or letterhead. I also liked the brown color you used in number 4. can you use it on number 7 and 21 ? Finally, do a version of 21 but remove the "caution" and put "12:25" on the bottom of the shield,. below EC. the call of duty culture is huge with todays kids - that was one of my reasons for wanting some war like elements in the logo. Thank you for your vision!
I've noticed that with the ray effect on the shield the EC gets lost...doesn't pop like your earlier creations...can we experiment with solid shield colors?
Also on 10 and 11 I'd like to see the "caution" replaced with "Prov 12:25"
yes... Love #44. How does 44 look with a lighter background but keep the dark lettering? How would it look if you colored the cracks/gaps in the square with the dark red?
Could you take the EC from 44 and replace the square in #7 with it?
Can I see #44 with the EC square to the left like #7
Also, I'd like your opinion..in motto do you like "encouraging" or "coaching"
Rem, I appreciate your creativity - this project of mine is for the long term - so I'm looking for longterm team mates. Hope you are on board.
Hi JW, i have revised it all, base on your previous comment. Please check it now.
And about your question between encouraging and coaching, i prefer " Encouraging ".. Because, if you use coaching, your position will be so dictating them, and also they will really see you as the man that makes a rules for them. And the idea for arranging relaxed manner as the approachment to the student will be hard to reach. BUT if you use Encouraging, i think they will understand you as the man that will support them in their condition, And also they will see you as their friend for sharing their problem. I am always on board JW! :)
Rem, It down to you and one other designer - just two of you. Whats the next step. Can I keep making comments until we have the final master piece? #firsttimer JW
Hello JW, how are you? I hope things are great there..
It's okay if you are the firsttimer, everything always has the beginning isn't it? :) Well, It depends on you JW, this is the Top 5 phase ( it remains 1 day 0 hour )
If you already feel satisfy and see that the logo here has the everything you need, you can contact LT's admin to end the contest. BUT, if you still want to develop the design, you have the chance for one day (cause the time here in Top 5 shows : 1 day 0 hours ) to give comment, to give the direction.
After this Top 5 phase is a judging time. Well, usually this is the time to pick a winner.
If you still have something to ask, dont be hesitate to tell me! I will make a quick response for you JW!
Thank Rem, In that case I have something for you: I'm going to be talking about pretty heavy stuff, scary stuff...but there is hope at the end of the day. So even though I'm going with a dark theme is there a way to show hope..like a flower growing between a crack in the concrete...anything come to mind? jw
building on 57, reduce the size of the flower by half, and put it in the crack on the lower right hand corner, all yellow flower see pictures of dandelions. I want to minimize the number of colors in the logo. we are close!
Rem, The team likes #61 but without the flower - I guess I got overruled :) Thank you for indulging my missed placed creativity. Taking # 61 remove the flower, add the word caution (another comment was that folks thought caution adds to the logo) Question is where do we add it? on the side of the block? JW
Hello JW, How are you? I hope everything is always great there. Maybe, i will share you a suggestion from the branding perspective, just for your consideration. 1. The Logo must be powerfull to communicate about what is your brand terrificly but still looking simple. 2. It has to show the character at once 3. By its simplicity, it will be long lasting visual that compatible in any media, 4. It must be easy to remember, related to the element of logogram and also logotype 5. It has to be easy to recognized though from the far distance to read by the viewer 6. The last, you have to really love it as the owner of the brand
So, i hope these help you to make a final decision. Have a wonderful day and stay vibrance! GBU!
Rem, it is down to numbers 50 and 68. Feedback is telling me to not show the Bible verse. Can you remove it for me to help me make the decision. Thank you, I'm ready to make my decision.
Hey Rem, Congratulations you are the winner. But before I do that #89 is the one...I need to remove the cross..it might put off some of the school and businesses that I'm going to approach. Tx
Rem, I remember reading that you could also provide me with a logo version that has a light background and and a color background. Can you do that also? jw
