It appears that Gelnud's design may have been infringed since he owns legal copyright/trademark protection to his design.* The winning design could be legally disputed since it is a derivative of Gelnud's work. It would be advisable that admin be alerted to this situation.

*"Copyright is established when an original work is created, composed or written and fixed to a tangible medium such as paper, canvas, recording, a hard drive, on film, etc.

The copyright is owned by the creator."
