Xenex (Healthcare Services)Logo Design Contest

A few comments at this stage in the contest (2/23):

(1) We like the logos with a symbol or object to the left of the text; the symbol should be strong and distinct enough to stand alone as well.
(2) The logo should look good with "XENEX" only, or with "Healthcare Services" or another tagline added below
(3) We will also need both a dark background version and a grayscale version
(4) For the symbol, we like the blues and oranges and combinations; we would like to see more with greens and green combinations. We prefer the text remain black or gray or silver, etc.
(5) We like symbols that are 3D, have rounded qualities, have a metallic or reflective look, and suggest a powerful light, cleaning light, killing microorganisms/cells; possibly incorporating the letter "X"
(6) All of our ranked logos are in the running; we have not narrowed it down yet.
(7) Here's some more about our technology that might generate some ideas:

"The UV light penetrates cell walls and disrupts the nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) in microorganisms causing mutations and the death of these organisms. Our patented xenon systems generate light pulses at such high energy that only brief amounts of exposure are necessary."
