A variation with a gradient filled bar added under the name, the slogan reversed out on top of it, spaces added between the words in the name and the logo done in all black except where the black fades out and forms some gray scale.
A variation with a thin bar or underline added under the name, spaces added between the words in the name and the logo done in all black instead of with some grey tones.
I think there is still a day and a half on this first four-day phase but at the end of fourth day only the top 5 placed logos get to submit. Phase two is two days.
Oh thats good to know...I better start fiddling it down. I guess maybe try the wolf in the lighter grey, and what does it look like if you add the slogan in small print below?
same as #113 with the wolf in the darker grey. Only the top 5 spots get to continue to submit designs in the next phase, so what would you like to see revised on any of these to get them into the top 5? Thanks!
This one features the medallion at the top and the three tone name with slogan below and is influenced by one of the sample logo styles you liked in your bio.
Same as #113 but with the slogan added underneath and a cool reflective gradient added over all, to almost reflect a horizon or to almost give the mountains depth with fog and a field below them. This gradient is supposed to make it more high end looking for quality and craftsmanship as well as give you this additional option when you can do more than just a black and white logo.
Same as #113 but with different colors in the initials to match the name and also grey thrown into the wolf so it looks more rock like and also balances out the grey tones.
I took the initials and made them into a secondary mark above the name. The name is in three tones so I didn't have to use spaces to minimize the length of the text as well as just a design element. The little medallion shape connected to the initials represents a wolf howling to the large full moon sitting behind the mountain. The mountain shape compliments the wolf shape, almost contouring it and in a way it can almost look like moonlight on the side of a mountain, a disguised wolf like the Toblerone logo with the bear hidden in the mountain. I used a clean, modern, fixed width font on this new direction.
This design is the same as #81 but with more of the wolf showing and a little bit of the white cut out shape behind on the W and to the left of the wolf to look Almost like a moonlight highlight. I cut the left edge of the black bar to match the angle of the line down the right side of the W which almost contours the chest of the wolf as well. The enclosure or frame line widths match the line widths in the 'WolfGensch'. Simple, clean and would look good on work truck doors and maybe even burned in wood signs, printed on ink pens and more...
I took the typographic portion of #79 and boxed it out in an enclosure. You mentioned simpler being better in your brief so I took out what made it complicated or busier. This also allows this portion of the logo to be larger so the negative space wolf head silhouette in the W shows up better and more of a design element.
This design is taking the trees and mountains box from #50 and moving it off to the side of the typography, losing the roof and instead using a trail. I used a bar the same height as the word Construction and have it connecting the scenery box up to the edge of the G. I've pressed the Wolf and Gensch together like one word for space but used the different tones so they'd still read as two words. The color or tone of Construction matches the that of Wolf for a balance.
This is the same as #50 but with the rectangle four pane window back in the eave and the word 'CONSTRUCTION' larger and beyond the width of the box at the top and bar at the bottom. Let me know if there are any specific revisions you'd like to see on this one if there is a chance of the concept moving up in the rankings. Thanks!
What would you like to see with this concept that would increase its ranking or its chances? I got mountains added and used your wolf silhouette. Did you like the 4 pane square window more on the eave of the house? Thanks for the feedback.
Here's the revised design with the element added to the bottom and a mountain range added to the background. I totally just winged the shapes of the mountains in the background but if there is a particular range or shape you'd like in the background just attach a web link to the image here in the message. Otherwise this can represent any mountains in general.
I can add the bottom element to the other logo and can even add some hint of the details of a mountain in that upper square that is fog or sky. What mountain range is near you so I can look at reference images online to see how best to illustrate the mountains in the background?
Well done, I like the color tones. I like the typographical logo. I Like the house incorporation but would be curious to see something with mountains. We of course have trees but also many above tree line mountains surrounding us.
Both logos I have submitted are pretty much the same with different primary name fonts and an extra element on the bottom of this one to square out the background rectangle shape. Both have the wolf silhouette in the negative space of the 'W'.
I wanted to give the illusion of it being a mountain home without using the mountain in the logo. I used the shape of the howling wolf as the negative space in bottom of the 'W' so ultimately the name when used alone is a typographic logo and the trees and roof a secondary logo. I used a greenish grey so it would have a grayscale feel but have a natural tone to it.
