de.sign, #12 is the prettiest logo, and is the only logo we put at the top of our rankings that doesn't follow our suggestion of showing how we 'take the web apart and put it back together'. I think it could be the best logo if you incorporate that idea. What made the color of 'moov' more subdued and composed the 'web' part in bright colors. That combined with your beautiful font treatment is a classic logo.

Also, what is that dark thing on the 'v'? An arrow or a shadow? Last, I think with the added colors, we don't need the shiny table effect, unless it still looks good--your call.

Thank you for feedback. This is my first try with puzzle treatement of web word.
#12 - That's right, it is shadow between v and w.

I'll submit more versions as soon as possible.

Thanks de.sign. I think the puzzle treatment is very creative but too busy. Can you add these features:

1. Make the 'B' a full letter. By omitting the vertical, it looks like a '3'. While I understand the style, it's a style that doesn't fit the company (it seems like it would fit a company making racing tires or for a video gaming conference).

2. Try a simpler arrangement of the colors in 'WEB' (keeping the 'MOOV' part dark as you have in #59 & #60):
a) Perhaps make each letter in 'WEB' a different solid color.
b) Or try filling the 'WEB' text with some simple pattern of 3 or 4 colors. The edges of the shapes in the pattern would not be white (which would only re-create the puzzle feel) but instead the colors could touch directly. Given how small the text is, you'd need to have a very simple pattern.
c) What about other simple patterns such as stripes?

Regarding 2c, maybe the stripes can be vertical and remind people of the initialization screen on TVs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMPTE_color_bars

Hey, the contest is ending in a few hours and you have a great font and great design skills.

I think this might be a winning idea:

Start with #60. Make each letter separate (not connected in a puzzle). Make a full "B" without the missing vertical. Remove the white gaps between the pieces so that the colors are directly touching. Last, I think the infinity should be removed, I feel the logo should have 1 idea, not 2. So it will look as if the 'WEB' is assembled from parts of different colors.

We love #159 too, but we thought #157 looks better when the logo is small, what are your thoughts?

What font are you using?

I agree with you #157 is better - more readable
I've created this font. I wanted M,W and V letters to look as if it made from the same element.

If we pick you as the winner, we will probably ask to see the 'E' in green and the 'B' in blue, so that the colors are in RGB order. There is then something we can say about taking the web down to its most basic elements, just as the letters are in the basic colors.

It was very close de.sign, but we had to pick you second. Your logo was the best looking and you are the most talented designer we had in the contest. Do you do web design, we need a website. Please email me at ajay@nextmobileweb.com.
