The star and leaf concept here is very nicely done. However, we have been battered with comments about any bold stars being too military so we are trying to stay further away from them now. #569 has used the stars differently and much more subtly so it can work. However, there is no need for any star(s) in our logo.
We are looking for any last attempts to animals. We were unfortunately flooded with a lot of copyrighted clip art which blew us away but we still have desire to see unique and sturdy animals. That's just a suggestion but it's not necessary. We do prefer to let the designer think outside the box because we have seen some remarkable work. We prefer it to stay simple though. The more intricate it gets, the more difficult it will be to see sitting on top of our 965 X 200 photograph.
Also, keep making sure no logo gets built into the text. You didn't do it but I don't want you wasting any time! :)
