What We Do
It is a stock trading strategy, iphone app and website.

Financial
Color Preferences
It's up to the artist. I think we should avoid purple to stay away from the WWE's Undertaker trademark, probably Black with Green to symbolize money.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We need a character logo. Think Eddie from Iron Maiden or similar characters that represent a company, but can be used like a comic in other positions and styles. Think concert tour shirts, but still a professional investment company brand.

I was originally thinking of a skeleton in a suit with an Undertakers hat holding money in his skeleton hand or something, but it's up for interpretation. The brand is "Undertrader" and it is a stock/investing brand.

Sure, something like that would probably be cool as long as it ties into investing or stocks or money, like a zombie/skeleton in a business suit or something. I'm not hugely creative, but yes, sounds cool.

I like the chart behind #11, but I don't like the character.
#12, 13, 14 - The character is ok, but I'd like more detail to it. I like the tie idea, but maybe add the shoulders and collar of a suit just to flush out that idea a bit. The money looks too cartoony.
#14 I like the font.

Some examples of flushed out characters with detail:

#15 reminds me of Ghostbusters too much.

#17 and 18 I don't like the character. I don't understand the tie over the mouth and the dollar sign is a bit cheesie

#19 is interesting. The guy Could be more ragged and less geek squad looking and the colors more vibrant. It's hard to distinguish the cash in the pants pockets from the hands.

#20 is just alright.

#21 is too cartoony and has nothing to do with money or the stock market.

Ultimately, none of the logos so far match what it is I originally asked for, which is a logo that a 20-40 year old male would wear on a T-shirt, similar to a tour shirt. These are all nice logos and cartoony, but would any of you wear a shirt with any of these logos on them? Especially the logo blown up full size on the front of a shirt? I'm not sure you'd say you would. Nor do I look at most of them (of the 5 entries I have) and think stock market, other than #11, but I really don't like the character.

So, I feel stuck. a two week tournament with hardly any entries and none of them that really took into consideration what I requested, so I'm a bit frustrated.

It helps if you can provide feedback to the individual designers explaining what you are looking for (not just how much or if you like it or not, that's what the ranking system is for)

If you don't like the designs that is okay but if you don't tell the designers how to improve them it is hard to get what you want.

if you can provide constructive feedback to individual designers via their design pages I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I've never done this before, so I'm pretty lost.
