Good luck with others. 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #46 Withdrawn Also, this logo is very clean and professional. But, Ultra Running is very dirty, messy, yucky, hot, cold, miserable at times, fun, exciting and something that will bring you to the brink. Again, the runner in the logo needs to represent both men and women for what they go through both to train for a ultra race and then race in one of them. Think badge of honor. 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #46 Withdrawn Does that all make sense? We plan on doing some marketing asking runners: "Are you a UltraJunkie?" So we want that runner on the logo to look crazy, funny, weird, tired, confident, insane, dedicated while in the middle of a 100 mile race. It needs to POP. SO for your logo, if you could just work on a ne runner that would be great! 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #46 Withdrawn Well, we are looking for something that will pop on a shirt or hat or any other apparel. It needs to appeal to both male and females. Also, ultra running is very much outside the box, hence the name of our site: UltraJunkie. Think of a junkie drug addict. This is very similar to a ultra runner. it requires deification, hard work, sacrifice and a little crazy passion. Please don't misunderstand, we don't think the logo bad at all. The runner is just not at all what we are looking for. But the overall scene looks cool. We want the runner to capture that runner in a 100 mile race going through so many emotions and finding the strength not to quit. The runner needs to POP off the logo, so both men and women would be proud to wear it as a badge of honor. 2 years ago GufoDesign commented on #46 Withdrawn Sorry you don't like, I'm quite surprised after the feedback on the other design. "Very basic" sounds bad. It's flat ok, that's a style. It is thought to have a good readability in small sizes and to appeal man and women. 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #46 Withdrawn Hey there...the runner looks very basic and plain. Can you make the runner look a little more like a zombie or crazy person? 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #16 Withdrawn Will do! Thank you! 2 years ago GufoDesign commented on #16 Withdrawn Nice to hear that. I'll make some update during the weekend, just keep me in the final phase. I'm from Italy and here it's already night 😊 Cheers, Alessio 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #16 Withdrawn Hey! The logo looks awesome! Can you make it a single runner and look a little less like a guy and more like a "creature" or "thing?" We want the runner to represent that little bit of crazy in ALL ultra runners. We want men and women to be proud to wear this on their running gear. But man, it's looking great! Also, for the colors...we are thinking more colors...as if the runner was heading into the forest. 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #13 Withdrawn Great! Thank you! We really appreciate it! 2 years ago GufoDesign commented on #13 Withdrawn Hi, I think to have understood and I'm working on something new. Cheers, Alessio 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #13 Withdrawn Here is what I said to another designer: Hey...we are getting closer. We both are not liking this runner. We think you are understanding the sport and where we want to go, so thank you. So maybe if you can make the runner almost not human, or like I mentioned before, a little more cartoonish. We want ultra men and women to feel proud to wear this logo as a source of pride. SO thinking outside the traditional type runner is fine, (Although no animals). What this current version logo perfectly representing is trail running/racing at it's finest. However when you do a 100 mile trail race there is a lot on your plate over 24-30 hours. Sometimes people hallucinate, give up, get to the point of giving up but keep moving forward and the nicest person could get angry. This version logo looks more like every trail run I've ever done...fun, awesome, in my own world with no worries. We want our logo to be more like you're 20 hours into a race and maybe having some doubt you finish but still pushing forward...going through many emotions but still smiling...then grimacing. Please don't misunderstand, the logo looks awesome! We love it! But for what we want it to represent, it's not there yet...but close. Also, maybe a tad more color to make it POP on a shirt, hat, product and website. Does that all make sense? 2 years ago KenandSethultra commented on #13 Withdrawn Hey there...we kind of like the feel of it however we need the runner to be edgy. Can you make the runner look a little out of his mind? Also, we are targeting men and women, so can you make the runner more cartoonish so either male or female will wear this with pride? 2 years ago
