What We Do
We endeavor to increase the participation of blind and visually impaired persons in the exhilirating sport of tandem bicycling by connecting sighted pilots with blind stokers, by training cyclists on riding tandems and being a resource for all things tandem - related.
Color Preferences
cyclists like and need bright, bold, colors that are not gender specific. for example, pink is too feminine. look at the "rainbow jersey" worn by world champion cyclists for an example. Ask yourself, will the design look good on a cycling jersey - across the back or the front?
Our Ideas & Additional Information
ideas: braille dots, white cane (international symbol of blindness), www.usaba.org, www.thetandemlink.com, www.ibsa.es.eg, www.usacycling.org, www.co-motion.com go to the tandem section, if there are riders on the bicycle, please make them non-gender and non-age specific. i need the blind aspect readily identifiable by the logo. the logo should not look so racy that leisure, cruiser type cyclists are scared off, but it shouldn't look so cruiser style that hard-core cyclists think the organization is for soft cyclists. it needs to communicate participation for all levels of cycling.
