Perhaps you've figured out that there are 2 people leaving comments on this contest. I think I finally understand what my husband is trying to get at with the barley beard comments. I realize this is a graphic and not a realistic photo, but real 2-row barley has one beard per grain on a flat head with 1 row of grains on either side of a central stem. Your grain stems are more representative of a 6-row barley which is fine, but harder to show in a simple graphic. The problem is there are too many beards and they are too short. It looks like grain with a coat of fur :) It's a fine distinction I know, but Montana is full of beer drinkin' farmer's daughters like me who can tell the difference. I didn't much care for the picture he suggested, try this one
