I see what you mean...I don't care for the outline either - I do like the black letter change thought....thanks!

I really like #21 but I am thinking it would not translate well on a sign with no background - do you have any suggestions?
To print a black background is too much ink in signs etc...
On a physical sign the background color would be difficult to have the logo stand out...

Maybe a mirror boarder or something....thoughts?

did I miss read the request?

#21 you are correct it wouldl not be over suited to a channel sign and a box sign there would be way to much white, especially if it's back lit...any reputable sign company will tell you the that to much back lit white is extremely hard on the eyes.

I have another idea same direction

#38 I think is cute but too hair oriented and doesn't represent the company as a whole but very cute if we only did hair:)

#38 yeah I know but I luv the shape.

#41 has a wider demographic appeal and has that abstract sun shape as well as synergy, it's dynamic

you'll see a lot of copies of my working being submitted now please keep that in mind I will do what it takes.

I've given a number of solid option however none are not to your vision except #41
I've go one more but it maybe a wee bit too oriental in style

Please do not be offended but we did not place a specific interest on any specific end result to see what the designers could come up with...
that's why I selected this method of logo design for multiple designs, from a multitude of designers with a variety of ideas.

Again thank you, I will not bother you for more selections...those you just added helped us to consider if we wanted to utilize a letter statement, great thinking out of the box and being challenged:)
