Hi here's my submission. I made the logo with some kind of a movie scene using a truck chasing a giant tornado to demonstrating you when you're going to capture the moment of the tornado. I think with this concept, the logo could tell a story to the audience by itself. Let me know what you think. If you need to see any changes, please feel free to ask. I hope I'm on the right direction
Hey Ryo. Yes I think you are on the right track. The overall feel is great. There is however a lot going on in these designs. I would suggest a more compact package. Not sure the truck needs to be there and also not a huge fan of the gun sight cross hairs. Think more along the lines of hunting with a camera.
Great work and please keep at it. Its got a good feel.
#21 and #24 are excellent. would love to see how they would be treated on a white background. Also, would like to see some different fonts and colours...But, overall I Love both of these. A lot. great use of the camera imagery. Very nice work.
#28 and #29 I like where this is going. The font used for Tornado seems a little too 'arial' haha but I understand because it works for the imagery of the camera lens. But would like to see a different more interesting but not cartoony font. Also, something to try is a more abstract tornado image. Maybe event something with no tornado icon. I know I am all over the map, so thanks.
Wow you have been very busy. Great stuff all around. I like #53 #55 #56 #57 I seem to be leaning toward the logo without a tornado icon. I do love this style but my only worry is that it may be too cliche...your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Hi Greg, I'm glad you like it! Well I thought the use of camera icon incorporated with the text could convey the photography business. It may be too cliche, but based on your company name -which is contain no photography name related- will makes the audience know what you're doing at first glance. Especially since the name using 'hunter' which could make a confusion between hunting and photography.
However, if you wanted to remove the camera icon, that would be no problem at all. Because in the other hand -based on the brief- you're not as photographer only but also as keynote speaker, author, etc. So in my opinion removing the camera icon still works too. Will be right back with the revisions without camera icon.
there you go #60 #61 #62 #63 looks great in BW version too, so it will be easily to transform in various media. I bet this logo will looks very cool in t-shirts or merchandise! :)
i agree, they look fantastic. I know you have put a lot of effort. I have uploaded two new samples. New Sample 27 and new sample 28... please have a look. I like the idea of a bordered crest as well. Your thoughts?
I would love to see #60, #62 and #63 with a subtle focus corners on it. Similar but more subtle than the first designs you offered. I like this design you did, more and more every time I look at it. Great work
Hey Ryo, you are kicking Ass!! These all look great. I really like #83 and #81. The only issue I have with #83 is that the shield/crest seems too mideival and perhaps to .... mean. I like it but not sure it would have as broad appeal. Can you perhaps play with making the shape of the crest seem subtly like a tornado or perhaps a tornado look in the black part inside the crest. Dont ruin what you have done, it can be very subtle. Also, I really do like the camera used in #53 and was wondering if you could somehow incorporate that idea into your design.... if it doesnt work or seems like it would be too much for the design then forget it.
I do like the Red, black, silver combo however I think I would like to see some different more earthy colour schemes...again, if it looks ridiculous dont bother.
Thanks Ryo, I definitely still prefer #83. but i need two things. First, above Tornado in the black area of the crest, a small star on one side of the centre line and on the other side a small maple leaf about the same size.
the second thing I need would be a white/monochrome version that can be used as a watermark on photos and video.
Hi Ryo, I have adjusted the rankings. I have had dozens of my associates and friends look at all the logo options and NOBODY likes the crest idea. I am the only one that likes the idea and now I feel that I have wasted a lot of your time with the crest idea. I have adjusted the rankings to reflect some of the more simple designs. I know there is not much time, but if you have any ideas that are much more simple and do not involve the crest please post them. I am sorry for the change.
No worries Greg. You can changing the directions with whatever you like as long as I'm still 1st ranked it's fine hahaha :D Okay then, I will refining the logo using this direction and will get back to you soon!
Hey RYO I like #210 as the italics give the logo energy. I would like to see monochrome, Black and White and white background versions, as well as a T-shirt version please.
Also, leaning toward #87 however it is too dark and hard to read on a black background, so perhaps some variations on this one as well. We are really getting close.
One more thought. I really like the idea of the 'O' in Tornado to have a triangle 'play' button as the inside part of the letter. It has been used in other designs and I do really like that idea.
Hey Ryo. I think we are close to a decision. Two small items I need . Can you show me the 1st place design without the tag line and can you show me a monochrome and a distressed tshirt design on the second place logo. I will then make a decision.
