It is the first one that has been understated, yet holds its space quite well... so well done on that, and thanks for tweaking as per my requests.
I am pretty happy with the design... I have a few questions:
Firstly, what is the font? Is it something I can use elsewhere in word processing etc?
Secondly, I am not yet set on a color palette. I had a thought that perhaps earthy tones... like browns and golds... gently implying the 'tribe' but doing it like apple would - that it making the colors vibrant, light, and unique without overpowering the message.
It seems luckykid has copied your style a little with 461.
I ranked him 2 because I like what he did using the 3D and kind of lifted it out using shadows etc.
I like your font better too... are you able to have a play with a few different ways to present the logo? Using some of the 3d ideas that luckykid did?
I would appreciate it... that way if you win, which is looking likely, I know there are a few different possibilities for the one design.
I like your origional designs because they are light and fresh...
Luckykid kept that lightness, in fact it looks like he copied it straight from you!
He used a shadow, or a negative backlight to define the boarders and the text is drifting back slightly, so the perspective is that it is on a slight angle.
I am about to jump on a plane and it is likely that the tournament will run its course before I get back to the internet - so congratulations!
Am I able to receive all the versions you created for me so I can show the team the different color variations etc?
Also, can you make on a file so everything around the actual file - that is white space - is transparent so it can be overlayed on any color without a big white patch showing up? Do you know what I mean?
