Although my partner has your entry #10 and entry #8 ranked 1st and 2nd, I tend to prefer the more rugged design that he has ranked 3rd. I do like the use of the green and grey more than the blue. And in entry #8, I like how the rock life goes into the mountain (kind of like you have to go into the mountains to live the rock life), but I also like how entry #10 has more of an overall oval.
However, I think my biggest thing is that I think it is too sleek. It makes me think more of a running shoe than more rugged outdoor sports like mountain biking, hiking, etc. Maybe if it was a little more rugged it would appeal more to me
Thanks for all the great entries!! I really like entry #25, but my partner still seems to be sticking to more sleek designs. I'm wondering if it would be possible to combine the more rugged mountains from the later entries that I like with the two color font from the #10 entry that he really prefers. I realize this was essentially done in black and white in #27 and #28, but I think if we could combine the lettering style from #10 (but maybe in black and green) with the mountains of #25 we both might like it.
If possible, i think we'd both be interested in seeing at least one that has some lowercase lettering also.
