ufotofu- I think that it would be great to just use the "cone" of the grammy in the design. I appreciate your entry, but I'm looking for something more simply, and less bubbly. Thanks!

Titan, I love the grey, orange and black. I would love if the "cones" looked more like the simple grammy outline. The idea is for the clients to instantly recognize the the grammy in the logo. I know that for copy write reasons, that we will not be able to use the full grammy design, but I was wondering if we used the "A" in "lab" as the base to the grammy, and set the cone on top. You can see a rough Idea of what I mean here. http://www.thehitlab.com/Blank_files/hit%20lab%20NO%20MAST.jpg
I know that you put a lot of work into your designs, and I really appreciate it.

I appreciate all the work you guys are putting in, I can't wait to see more designs. Feel free to experiment with it as well, I had a hard time adjusting the style sliders, so don't feel like you have to stick to those. Keep in mind that my clients (large record labels) are also the same people that hire graphic designers and oversee album artwork for their artists album covers, so although we are going for more of a high end look, our clients are a little more hip to cool design. I know how much work you guys out into your designs, and I appreciate it.

You guys are doing great, my only concern is how we are working the grammy into the deesign.
I would love to work in the grammy in a classic illustrated form, like these:
http://www.letsgomobile.org/images/news/nokia/grammy-awards.jpg

or the main illustrated versions used this year for the grammys:
http://www.grammy.com/

I'm thinking that it would be cool so do something similar, but not use the base of the grammy, instead set the "horn" on top of part of the text in the design. It's just that the grammy logo is so recognizable, that I don't want to change that part too much so that people instantly recognize what kind of work we do.

Thanks!

You guys rule

Zhao- I like #42, I find that it is really nice to have a logo a box and where the text is the empty space (does that make sense? a negative I guess?) I would love to see some more ideas based on that, but just simply on a white background. I like the logo to pop without having to have a shaded background. My top pick so far (#34 by orion) is only shaded because he has not posted a version of that logo in white. I'm not opposed to having shading, but I want it to still be strong without it.

Thanks for all of your hard work!

I'm seeing you guys do a lot of designs where the grammy is coming off of the "b" in "lab" or as part of a lower case "a" in "lab"... since the base of a grammy is a trapezoid shape, It might be cool to use an upper case "A" for the base. Just a thought.

I know that you guys have put a lot of time into these, and I really appreciate it!

flowata - I like the simplicity in a lot of your logos, I think that the fonts and colors might be holding me back. I would love to see some where the 3 words in "The Hit Lab" are 2 or 3 different solid colors. I really like simple design. I also like the idea of using a test tube in the logo, although the grammy speaks more to my clients emphasizing the "hit" part of the name more so than the "lab"...but it would be cool if we could do both without losing the simplicity. If somehow the logo could communicate that we create the "hits" (grammy) in the studio (lab)...might be too much, just a though
Thanks!

I would love to see more designs that are a square with the logo as the negative space inside of the box. Ibot, I like the colors that you are using, I'd love to see some different fonts, and a grammy that faces to the left, since that is how it is always displayed. I'd to see you guys take more risks, I'm not super great at ranking these, I've been ranking my favorite and then all of the variations of it, but I realize that it might be hard for you guys to judge what I like from that, so I tried to re-rank them.

Once again, I'd love to see more where the logo is a cutout from a square or rectangle. Thanks Guys!
