I love it, my only concern is that I want the cone to be easily recognized as a grammy, and not just a horn. I would love to work in the grammy in a classic illustrated form, like these:
http://www.letsgomobile.org/images/news/nokia/grammy-awards.jpg

or the main illustrated versions used this year for the grammys:
http://www.grammy.com/

I'm thinking that it would be cool so do something similar, but not use the base of the grammy, instead set the "horn" on top of part of the text in the design. It's just that the grammy logo is so recognizable, that I don't want to change that part too much so that people instantly recognize what kind of work we do.

your current design is really great though, I really dig it.
Thanks Scott!

I've addressed your concerns lets try this as you know we cannot copy the "Grammy " icon but we can emulate it

This logo is SO close for me. I love number 34 (with the circle that gives it more of a 3d look), but wonder if you could "flare" the cone a little, to make it resemble the grammy shape more. Also, I liked the energy that happens when you added some lines coming out, I'm a big fan of simplicity though, so I'm on the fence on those. Thanks, you're killin' it

ok, I love the solid colors without shading, and the new grammy shape, my only other thing would be to make the circle at the end of the grammy a solid one instead of a outline...where the empty space would be the solid orange, and the current ring (that outlines the empty circle space) be removed, like it was on #34, but with the new shape and no shading. Thanks for tweaking so much, I really dig it.

so close, I like the needle and bottom of the grammy before this tweak (#79) and I like the solid circle, but I think it's too big. I like how in #34 it was the same size as the end of the cone... but keep the "flare" of the cone so that it still resembles the grammy design. If it looks dumb the same size, then maybe just a tad smaller than it is now. What are your thoughts? I feel bad tweaking so much, but I do really love the design, and the tweaks are making me love it more. Thanks

Dude, the angle is great! I feel awful tweaking so much, but it is looking sick! My LAST tweak would be to see it inverted, so there is an orange rectangle and all of the text is white... exactly the same, but reversed colors. Thanks AGAIN, I love it.
