The Wylie Draper FoundationLogo Design Contest

my submission, the design direction is inspire by Wylie himself and it's an appropriate tribute to this Wylie. The most striking feature I would say are his eyes and hair he has great hair and very recognizable feature..so lets play to those physical attributes that everyone recognizes as Wylie....

I've only done the hair and eye because full face would not have the same impact as this design..determination in a playful and fun way.

So not sure just how to comment. We like it! The first thing one family member said is damn, that HOT!!

Using his image is a fitting tribute but how can the design draw me in more?? Love your portfolio...cant wait to see how you come back!!!

seems odd to only see eyes and not at least the bridge of the nose.......understand not using the entire head...just a thought

I highly recommend that gradients not be used. I'll add them in if that is what you mean by POP!

since we are not designers not sure what you mean by gradients (reflective??) we would like to see the design to have some depth #37...not really feeling the sun coming out of Wylie's head. Still thinking about the nose and mouth. don't really need the tip of the nose just the bridge...we think???
