I think we'll probably need a few revisions depending on what we are using the design for. We need it for signs, business cards, boat decals and I'd like one with just the salmon. Do you have my contact info?

Don't make it out West too often. I Spent 2 months last year in Northern California and am getting married out in Lake Tahoe in May.

I do a lot of fishing and would love to come up and try my hand with the salmon sometime!

One last detail I was playing with was doing like a stitched border around "tackle shack" instead of the two lines.

We can also add a small border around the entire design so that it will look great on any background.

Can we see the banner curved the other direction? My wife says you can't see the salmon tail very well this way. Looks pretty awesome...

I definitely like it lighter like this or maybe even a little more.

The red really clashed with blue when they are actually touching. I'll upload one.

Have you tried adding red to the upper fin or is that too much red? I'm just thinking it may balance with the red banner below. Just a thought...

Ya I was suprised by that. Coffee mugs, t-shirts etc. Love it. Everyone absolutely loves the salmon you designed. You ever go to the West Coast? If you ever want to come out, we will look after you very well for the excellent job you did for us.

Sure thing and I agree it looks better. I was just trying to keep it to 4 colors.

Can we try this with white writing in The Tackle Shack? Might pop the name more.

I can definitely give you a look with the wood, but as mentioned it may not be practical in the long run.

I just read your comment on the wood adding two extra colors so that might make our decision easier. Have to figure that out quick...

Don't care for the red stripes above and below tackle shack.

My wife likes this design but loves the red curved "Pacific Playgrounds" in red as in #57 that is ranked 5th. Thinks that the red balances the logo.

Further to the above can you do one curved up and one curved down?

Okay, you've nailed the salmon. Couple of things with this one, do you think that you could make a curved wood sign? My wife is stuck on the wood design and might take some convincing to change that. Also, I just notices that each side of the tackle shack sign has different angles on the side. I didn't notice that before as I was more focused on everything else.

The design works well in one color also. In case you print one color tshirts.

The issue with adding the wood is that it adds 2 colors right from the start. Even if we were to make wood grain in say, blue, we would have to add another shade of blue to see the grain.

Can we try this design without the red and see how that looks? Can i see what it looks like with the 'at' taken out?

This would make a really cool coin, we could maybe make some as a fundraiser for the BC Salmon Foundation once we finalize the salmon colors.

Save this design scheme though, we could use a two color design like this maybe on coffee cups or something, have to think about it a bit...

This is still a lot of peoples favorites, I think that just maybe the colors feel a bit washed out to me. So in the same colors can we try just going fuller/darker? Mixed reviews with adding the red but its close between the two designs. You did a great job on this for us...very happy with you and the work that you've put in.

Love this design. Great feedback on the wood background. Just need to fine tune the colors. Lets try a darker outline like a navy blue for the fish or maybe just a touch lighter than navy like a royal blue, this is too turquoise for me. Also I think that there are too many colors in the fish now, I'm thinking ahead to t-shirts and signage etc. Can we make Pacific Playgrounds more pronounced? Not too much but a little would be perfect. Try just a bit darker green in the salmon and maybe red where the orange and yellow is on the fins and belly. That would simplify it a bit. We like 'the' in the design. Lots of feedback that its tough to read at first with the T and S, can we try a new font? Couple more revisions and we should have it perfect. After the contest, I'd like to discuss some other projects if your are open to that. Thanks!

For me this is my favorite one, unfortunately too far from out Pacific Playgrounds colors. The concensus is that the wood grain background is a winner so we'll stay with that. The T in Tackle and S in Shack are still what people most comment about as being too hard to read at first. Can we try different font?

Still working on the colors. The colors on #14 were taken from the eagle on the original Pacific Playgrounds logo. I'm all ears for more suggestions.

The background of "The Tackle Shack" might look good with a cedar wood grain background, squared off with grey nails on the four corners. The feedback that I've gotten is that the T looks like a J and the S looks like and & symbol. Oh and the playgrounds letters more pronounced.

Maybe as far as color schemes go, brighten it up a bit. These are a little too pastel for me. Maybe brighten up the blue and add red where there is purple. Almost all inuit art has some red in it. You are doing a great job, I think we can make this work!

I like the overall design of the salmon, but not too crazy about the colors. I also think that the upper back of the salmon could be more Inuit Artsy. I'm not sure if throwing any red in will work but I wouldn't mind seeing some other color options. The font is a little shakey too. Any chance on getting a little more realistic water?
