My submission for your review. I've read the brief and visited both websites. the design direction based on all this information is what I am calling "Urban Deco" a a striking combination of the art deco era blended seamlessly with todays urban design styling.
I've omitted the word historic however we can easily add this in though maybe in a tagline...your thoughts?
The mark is well balanced, easy to read (very important) which will look sensational on the new site as well as in print and other promotional uses such as Tee's posters etc.
