Hey scott,
I like the professional appearance and the use of the symbol. I am not crazy about the Purple font

Thank you for considering my work, as for the original colour i work primarily in CMYK with a calibrated 8 bit display. So that the colour i choice are blues, however if you are viewing on a standard monitor you will see a loss in colour or colour shift simply because 6bit TN panels are not designed for graphic design they are primarily consumer end for gaming and general purpose..

The original blue is a dark navy

this design is an RGB ( In my professional opinion RGB should never be used for logo or any design work. RGB is what use used to movies, tv (crt and LCD) monitor etc any design work designated for web use only should be RGB
