If you were to construct a large archway going into the complex it can be represented in the logo this way. The type is a nice fixed-width font for clean lines for legibility. Secondary colors can be brought in on the arch. 3 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #43 Withdrawn The stones on the top represent the businesses within The Gateway area and can be white, grey or some other secondary color. The bottom element finishes off the circular shape that makes up a gateway or entrance and can be green to represent the soccer complex or ground in general, or can be grey as well to represent concrete to match the grey stones of the archway. I used the A's in the word Gateway to be the connectors between the two sides of the archway or bridge and I flipped the As to make the Es in the text for a nice transitional flow or movement in the type. It's bold for masculine but also has soft lines for the feminine. You've got little water drops in the negative space of the A's and E's that can represent fountains if you'll have those around the grounds as well. The bottom element that is the ground or sidewalk also makes a smile, which subconsciously lifts. 3 years ago
