We prefer the serif font in #21, but not sure about the extended leg on the X.

Thank you for your feedback and appreciation.
Here is a version without the "extended leg" #22

Could you add Steve Myer's to the top of #22 and 23?

Thanks! Could you please try #27 with the font you used in #26 for "College Boys"?

Awesome! Thank you.
We were talking today and we liked the little red "flares" below the X in #24. Can you try that on #48? Thanks!

Hi- Thanks for the revisions! I was wondering how this will look on a dark background. We're planning to use it as a PNG with a transparent background. Just wanted to see how the fade on the picture of the state is going to look. Can you try that for us? Thanks!!

If you want to see it on a different colored background, just ask.
Thank you.

Hi, thanks. So is the picture of the state actually filled in with a color or is it transparent? I see that the left edge looks like it was changed to a lighter grey on the black background. Ideally, we'd like something that's not going to need to be altered on different background colors.
Also, could you please do #51 in the same font as #50? I think we like that chunkier font better.
Thanks again!

The revised version #55
Regarding your question, the map is filled with a gradient of gray wich has applied to it a transparency mask.
In other words, when the map sits on a colored background, it simply fades automatically into the color of the background (no matter which color the background is). On the left side of it (where the gray is) it simply floats over the color of the background without being affected by it.
It is a versatile method and it works automatically on any background without any adjustments.
It pretty hard to explain but I hope you get the idea.

On the black background, the left side appears lighter because it contains 50 % of black, so normally it looks lighter than 100% black (the background).
On the blue background, I haven`t changed anything (except the background - from black to blue), The blue is 25% cyan so the 50% percent black from the left looks (normally) darker than the blue because it floats over it.
Here is a link where I put 4 different background under the map. As you will see, it works automatically on all of them.

That's great! Thanks for clearing that up. It makes perfect sense. We'll be talking in the morning to make a decision on the logo. Thanks again!

Hi- I think we're going to go with your logo. We just had a couple ideas to incorporate:
Can you make "Steve Myer's" in #55 the same size as it is in #50?
In #50, can you make the font size of "College Boys" the same as TX?
One other thing we'd like to see is #55 with the TX larger like it is in #26. We weren't sure if that would throw everything off with the picture of the state or not, but we like that layout. If necessary, maybe make the state picture a little larger.
Thanks for all your work and revisions.

Thanks for the quick response. I have AI on my computer; will it be fairly easy for me to adjust the placement of "boys" and ".com" between the stacked (#57) and single-line layouts (#58)? We're going back and forth about which we like better. :) If it's pretty easy to play around with that myself, then I think we can probably go ahead and make a decision.

Every single piece of the logo is made in AI and it is independent from the others (can be moved anywhere). I would say that it will took you 10 second to switch between the versions (assuming that you`re not a heavy Illustrator user).

You just have to move "Boys.com" after "College" and center "Steve Myer`s" on "TX College Boys" = 10 seconds :o)
