We like your creativeness, but need it ramped up a little bit. We would like to see a design with the name to look a little stronger and a few variations on the symbol. Thanks for your participation in our tournament.
Ok Alexandru.... What can you give us?? What kind of identity did you have in mind passed what you submitted. The design with the dispatcher wearing a headset simply refers to a dispatcher. Yes it is friendly, but friendliness does not translate to us from it. Not to say its unfriendly, you know what we mean. What other design are you thinking about??
So the contest is now extended in the Top 5 phase. We would like to see what ideas you were thinking about with regards to our identity. We are open to what you were saying and would like to see some varied designs built around your view. Can you do that for us??

Wow....thanks for your prompt response. I hadn't even left my desk yet. Thank you....unfortunately, we both had to travel on business and were not able to properly engage in the contest even during the extra rounds. We took your comments seriously when you advised us that we should be using a friendly approach as apposed to a technical approach with our logo. More designers should engage their clients as you did. We can see why you have been tremendously successful.
What we were really in disagreement on was the character in your #1 ranked design. My colleague would like it worked to seem more realistic and not as basic. I hope I am describing this right. I personally like the simpler approach, but agree the current character isnt exactly it. I realize the font is very easy to change at anytime and the colors aren't really a big deal either. We like the headphones because it is recognized immediately as someone dispatching. Any thoughts??
You may be right here. I was going for something memorable and simple, easy to reproduce on all media. The head shape is unique and is instantly recognizable. I can work on different approaches to the character to make it less cartoonish/sketchy. The dots on the left were placed to refference the techy aspect of the business.
