The house is representing both a book and the actual house. Customer can understand that it is a guide about something related to property, the name does the rest. Logos to me should always be simple but with a strong idea, it has to be scalable, and not too detailed. I think that my logo is clear and professionnal looking.
I developped the same idea, the house as a book but I worked more on the visual aspect now that I know the client liked the idea. I tried to use all the colours he liked and added also foot prints to push a bit more the idea of "step by step". I think it's important to keep the logo simple.
The house is formed by the book upside down, representing the roof and straight and simple lines. It is important for the client to have a logo that stays simple but with a strong idea.
This logo is more abstract, the lines represent the pages of the book, with the houses popping out from it, representing the idea of the book giving great tips about taxes
Hello dear Mikemila, here are more logos pushed a bit further :)
Best regards
