how about using red instead of the blue? I like where you placed the target, but I thinks the color red will make it stand out more.

entry 12:

-incorporate a simple "radial effect around the 'target' icon"

I have bolstered the fonts and made the red bolder. There are a number of ways to create a radial effect including the use of the G so I have prepared a number of options for you. Bear in mind that I can tweak any of these after the conclusion of the comp should I still hold your top spot. I really like the result here so hopefully you will too.
