I thought about this for sometime as you know, and the way to go is with word mark only. the name Stark..is very powerful on it's own and does not require the embellsihment of an icon to make it standout form the pack.
there are 4 to this series (though these will change once your division in place) there is the standard wordmark "StarK followed by a tentative labels for divisions. Each divison the colour for the letter "R" changes giving an immdediate recognition to each division without loosing branding integrity.
The base colour is a dark charcoal grey however this is demonstration and we'll need to refinethe colour scheme as the contest progresses...but I will need your input to ensure this disgn meets your branding requirements
Sorry for the delay in commenting on this logo. We like the typeface and the color choices. The concept doesn't have the same depth of meaning as some of our other options. Why did you single out the "R" for a different treatment? Perhaps if we understood this, we would have an appreciation for the deeper meaning.
Stark Design 2. the icon is created from the white space surrounding letter "s" which make a ying yan symbol and also humanized by the possitive objects which represent people
