St. Bernard Tourist CommissionLogo Design Contest

We like the crisp, sharp look of the colors in #1 and #2, as well as the feel of the fonts. We would prefer to stick with "St. Bernard Parish" or just "St. Bernard" as the prominent text. Design #3 is an interesting approach, but St. Louis Cathedral is certainly a New Orleans icon. More St. Bernard-based icons might include the Chalmette Battlefield Memorial, older cannons, bayous, plantations, sugar cane, fish, seafood, or egrets.

The committee is also interested in seeing designs similar to those of Lafayette or Lakes Charles (please see attachment) - something a little splashy and adventuresome. I'm here for feedback and hope to see more designs!

We would enjoy seeing renditions of your logos that reference only "St. Bernard" or "St. Bernard Parish", without "Tourist Commission". The tagline "New Orleans Most Historic Neighbor" is optional, but preferred. Thanks for all the great designs so far!
