Thank you for the design you have submitted. There are a few things I really like about your design:
1). The font you have chosen for the logo is fantastic. So far, it is my favorite lettering used for songseeds.org. 2). I appreciate the creative concept of the seed sprouting from the sound that emanates from the guitar. 3). The color scheme works well.
Some suggestions:
1). Using the same exact font and coloring, I'd like the see the orange dot in "songseeds.org" be converted into an orange or brownish-orange seed and then have the seed sprouting forth musical notes in the shape of a sprout, shoot, or sapling.
2). Perhaps the roots of the seed (dot) could extend down to form the underlying slogan: Growing Music from the Ground Up
These are the images that come strongly to me based on your initial design. No one has done this yet where the dot is a seed that sprouts forth musical notes in the shape of a plant and with roots forming the underlying slogan.
You are obviously welcome to do with these suggestions what you will. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
