Hi Eastcoast - thanks for replying to my message and sending through your concepts.
They all look nice and clean, however #139 #140 #141 having different colour letters holds back the emphasis on the word itself. It's important for the logo to 'pop' and really jump out, whilst being presented in a polished web 2.0 style. Not too overboard, as the logo must also appeal to corporate users as a key market segment of ours.
Entry #145 our preference (it's nicely finished and clean), though I think we'll end up choosing a bolder typeface. The styling of your chosen font is great though - a little different, whilst still smart enough for a corporate market.
Re. the abstract mark, we're looking to avoid the use of solid CYAN, MAGENTA and YELLOW, as it's very over-used in the Australian print market. We're very partial to a separate abstract mark too, similar to
http://www.finsburygreen.com.au/gifs/header.gif - who is loosely a competitor of ours (so musn't be too near this design). We're not opposed to the abstract mark being the focus and web 2.0 styled, with a clean/strong plain text element.
Thanks again!
