This isn't quite the way I want it, but I wanted to get your opinion on the direction. Sheet of notebook paper in the circle... Feedback would be great and then I can work more effectively.

Thanks for your entry. I like the "depth" of your logo. Is there something instead of a circle that you could use to get the "save" aspect across?

Ok, I'm getting closer to what I was thinking about and I hope this is going in a direction you like. I was thinking about a canister top where you could look down into, but it was sealed, thus the latch. This definitely has a modern if not futuristic feel, so I hope it goes in the right direction. I like the color choice in #4. With your explanation, the logo makes sense, but some of the people I've had look at it think they are looking at a portal. In some ways that almost helps the "remote" part in remote backup. I know what I'm about to say may be contradictory, but is there any way to have the "Safe. Simple. Effective." as the text inside the glass but also have the symbol part of the logo be a bit smaller and the SaveMyDocs.com a bit bigger? Great work so far.

I think I made this small enough. Actually, your comments made this much better because I made the text much bigger under the glass. The company name is as big as I can make it within the artboard. Thanks, Jason

Ok been thinking about this for a few days. Hope you like this progression of the porthole, window idea... Thanks, Jason
