Simple, Professional, Clean. Pictorial mark is a hybrid "S" and "G". Along with the first letters of your business name, The shape is also reminiscent of a sail boat (Look at the negative space). It's a subliminal, abstract design. I used a variation of your blue and yellow color scheme.
Any specific feedback for my entry? Is it something you really like? Font? Should I continue explore this concept? ...Or, should I go a different direction?
Christian This is my first contest and I just found your comments. Thanks for the work and your well articulated synopsis. I will try to provide constructive input about your design, but ultimately, the perfect design is totally in the mind of the beholder. Or stated another way, there is no accounting for taste. I tend to like the logos that are done on a white (neutral) background. That way they can be applied to any media (web, t-shirts, etc.) without the media background having to be a specific color. I like the idea of what you have done, but I don't like the actual logo that much. The symbol sort of reminds me of Pac Man and seems to be a bit 'industrial' looking. Again, it's all in my mind.
