Sacred SpiralLogo Design Contest

My submission, inspired from a swan which reminds me of spiral their shape the way the move or almost glide on water.. The mark can easily stand on it's own to water mark photos etc.

it's in grey because it is the best way to evaluate a design, I will be adding colour but wish your feed back first.

I've stayed away from using the letter SS for obvious reasons

The swan is beautiful. The overall design is elegant and feminine, as well as the most professional entry that I've received.

Two of my family members are in jewelry - merchandising and marketing. I expect feedback from both of them in the next couple of hours, and plan to hold off on feedback for you until I get a chance to talk with them.

I've made a minor adjustment to the swan icon #124

Hi Scott,

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I've been thinking a lot about your logo. I've done some research on Swan symbolism, and it works really well with the themes that I want to communicate. As far as your adjustments, they both look beautiful to me. I think it'll probably come down to a color theme when deciding upon the right one to use.

I have been thinking about the following colors:
Purple or Indigo/Midnight blue - fantasy, mystery, sophistication, spirituality, expensive, luxurious, feminine
Silver - Vision, Clarity, Strength, Purity, Femine
Green - Creativity, Healing, Renewal, Growth
Orange - Vibrant, Unique, Artistic, Uninhibited
Black - Bold, elegant, mysterious, sophisticated

Why don't you play around with those a bit and see where it takes you. I am more interested in unique versions of the above colors - I don't want to see grass green or fire orange, for instance.

Just a few more things:

1. I forgot brown - Depth, richness, subtlety, earthy, natural
2. I definitely don't want all of these colors on the same logo - one to three will be fine
3. What did you mean when you said you were staying away from the duel Ss, for obvious reasons? Not that I want you to, just curious ...

Some one else has used the SS together I was going to place the swan as a pair but it would be too close to someone's work already upload.

accent colour options, the idea here is to use the swan to market/brand different product lines,
such as Crystals, gemstones, metals woods etc.

The swan icon would make lovely necklace center piece, ring broach

Oops, I didn't mean to throw them into the uninterested box. I think your idea to use different colors to communicate different lines is a good one.

I also liked the double swans, just needed more time to consider. Could you resubmit them if it's easy?

If not, we'll figure something else out if I choose your design.
