1. minor tweak to the shield add a vector highlight this just gives it a wee bit more solid look and feel and easily removed if it's not to your liking.
the main focus here is the word Saber I've taken the blade edge and extended it to the letter R
Scott... I like the new idea. Clean and fresh! I would like to see some variations...maybe even using "Transport" instead of "Transportation" to shorten and fit better in that space. Also, would love to see some variations of the shield. I do think simpler is better.
I like the designs a lot. Could you work on the shield a little? How about putting the border back on some of the shields, and trying a few different things there.

Hopefully you can see this effect..these 350 x 280 thumbnails are not the best for viewing. I've added a vector highlite to both text and shield to give it that look of depth...the vector highlites will be more cost effective to reproduce with vinyl.
Okay... yeah, I can see the highlights. Could you also work on a "print" beveled effect (like entry #231 - Max K). You don't need to apply to the text, just the shield. Thanks!
