google.ruthie sommers. dont like my website now at all. too poppy
I like elegant Emily Post type handwriting.I want to come across as a very artsy but with an old world silver lining. I attract very high end clientele and this logo will be on my website and possibly some coffee table books. it should have some variations.it should look great on stationary for thank you notes as well as on stickers and on a press release.

#4 is the closest idea that I like. I was not very specific and should have mentioned that I am looking for something that could have been around for hundreds of years ( calligraphy, letterpress, initials) the design should be something graphic ( Tory Burch logo ) or Hermes or Chanel ..

I like #18 and #14 because of the old fashioned font. I am really looking for something that feels as if it was started in 100 years ago but is still a hip company. I like the way "Coach" has a graphic box around it. I like Hermes font and how it feels very old school yet luxurious and chic. Tory Burch logo is really what I am going for. Initials that are graphic and bold but established. It would help to view these on line. I think having the RCS or RS in an old fashioned font linked ( in chain or looped) and then a very simple ruthie sommers spelled out would be great. No flowers or emblems that are abstract. It must resemble something that is atleast related to interior design or is just a cool graphic. The Chanel logo- is very appealing as is the Burberry plaid graphic that pops up on their website. My clients have included Princeton University and top celebrities so I am going for something established and proper more than modern and playful. THANKS!!!!

These are all getting really close. It is hard to decide because I love seeing new ideas that I would never think of. I think I am heading in the direction of 86, 95,95,82 because they are simple yet feel established. I am not into unicorns but the emblem idea is great. I think I need all three initials and whatever this is will be the opener on my website. I do like diagonals such as herringbone and chippendale. It would be great to see these incorporated. All of these are so cool. I can see all of them on some product like or something.
I greatly appreciate all of the extra effort and seeing this creativity is inspiring.
