Entry #1 looks good but it reminds me of fencing wire, also the grey text is a bit light. Entry 2 is a better colour scheme but the decal looks a bit like a Japanese flag? I had something in mind using a compass - like we're heading in the right direction with Richard Steel...and maybe a swooshing arrow going upwards...
