I see other designers are taking my original checkmark idea because you like it. I will refine it to your liking if you want change.

I am sorry to withdraw but it is very sad to see my idea copied when I worked hard

FlatWorld,

I moved you back into first because, indeed, you were the original check mark. I was surprised to see you withdraw the one I had ranked no. 2. I guess because I am new to this process I don't grasp how this works. To me, being no. 2 means it is still under serious consideration. Your #98 idea is interesting and I would probably consider it except my brother-in-law, who is a graphic artist, suggested I don't use red at all due to the negative connotation for accountants. But I like the idea of going from in the red to in the black. I appreciate your hard work and creativity. I am extending the contest because I think we are close to a good logo, but would like to consider some more ideas. Thanks.

thank you for your consideration, and I understand. I will work with you on more ideas of going from red to black. I also thought of the red being negitive and like thought of making it a plus. I have more ideas for that. Thank you again.
While nobody can claim a checkmark as unique, I did introduce it here and can continue to develop it any way you like.

This fades up to black showing graduated upswing. I can do other fonts as well for name

My wife made a suggestion and I want to give you first shot at this. As you can see I have put your #129 in first place, but let's try something just a wee bit different. She says the "rsk" looks to much like "risk" which is not good for accountants. Why don't we try "rk" instead, but leave the "Richard S. King" the same. So, just my first and last initials on the left. I love the check mark incorporated into the k (which you have done all along). I keep going back and forth on this, but I think the red to black theme is good.

The 'rk" is a good idea. I will show you how it works in black/red and blue/black to compare.
#138 #139 and #140 show some combinations. The design works in any two color.

Thanks for giving me "first shot." Other designers may look to see what you ask me to do and then do the same, though. : )

#1 I am getting very close to a decision at this time. Could we try a couple more variations? My wife would like to see if you can present "CPA" in a narrower font (like #3). If this cannot be done to retain overall balance, I would still be happy with #1. Another suggestion is to use "CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT" as an underscoring, similar to what is presented in #2. Thanks for your efforts.

No problem. CPA spelled out can be used on some versions and left off on others. I will show you.

I should have clarified. What I mean in my prefious post when I refer to #2 and #3 are those that I have ranked in my latest update as #2 and #3 (right behind your #1)..

I think the lighter weight CPA works fine as well.
