#1 is closer to what I have in mind. The font is acceptable, and I would like to see some other graphic design choices, particularly using my initials in a more creative presentation. Maybe a little more color contrast. Don't discard this one, though. I think we can use it as a baseline design to work from.
#2 The letter font is average, but does not make a memorable impression. I do not care for the graphics.

Feb 14th comment - Could the artists in #1,2, and 3 try using some shading (I'm not sure what it is called, not being an artist myself :o) of the colors so that the viewer sees a progression through the logo from one color at the left hand side and transforming through shades to the other color on the right.

#1 and 2 are the best except I do not like the dots above the initials. #3,6,7,8 need more color and a comma between the name and designation. #11 & 16 - please don't make a dollar sign out of my middle initial. #3 still has possibilities. All entries - I am still looking for some color transition from left to right rather than top to bottom. #17 through 19 - I do not like the shield. #4 is a good presentation except too drab, needs more color.

To all artists: I am trying to carefully consider all of your great entries. I had to extend for two days because I cannot focus full time on this project. Tax season is here and I have to take care of my clients as the top priority. I will give attention to the contest as best I can over the next 46 hours and then make a final decision. Thanks for your contributions.
