Our Ideas & Additional Information
http://www.annebarge.com/main.html The way her initials are incorporated into the fleur de lys is brilliant and I love the casual contemporary style of her fleur de lys. Also love the way the initials are done for christian auditigier http://christianaudigier.com/ (BUT this is a WEEE bit stuffy for me I want a little more flair)

LoGoliath, thank you for your design #1! Everyone loves color of course, but I love black and white and use a black and white photo as my headshot. Love this font, the simplicity, and having the initials in the middle. Not crazy about the way the R & D are juxtaposed, though; wonder what it might look like to flip the R backwards?? Not sure - what other creative ways can you think of to change this?

Wookasheen, these are awesome. The black is my emotional favorite! I do worry, however about the ramifications of using an all-black background; seems like it might be a nightmare for print use? I might have to go with #3 as the practical favorite. Love the creative way you juxtaposed the initials! I like this becuase it is creative and classic with a contemporary flair. Is there a way to make the diamond stand out more, like it does in the black version?

Also, I have a brochure in which the logo will be used; I will try to post a copy of it today.

Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

LoGoliath, I wonder what it would look like to try and incorporate some element of a house into your design? Say, a roofline, or a turret, a doorway, or something like that?

Love that key in #12 but not crazy about the pink and purple stripes underneath it though I like the way the stripes look in #23
I want to love #14 becuase it cleverly incorporates all the "elements" but at the moment all my focus goes to the D and I want it to be more balanced, overalll.
#12 love the stacked compactness of this and ultimately that kind of "overall shape" might make the most sense....
#16: simple, elegant, classsic. Love it
#18 great incorporation of all the elements w/o being tooo busy. Still looks nice and clean. Great!
#19, #20, #21 these are a bit too casual and/or contemporary; for some reason the D in 19 & 21 makes me think of baseball
Overall, I seem to be leaning toward the simpler designs, though I do want to love #14 which is not as simple.

Thanks so much for your wonderful entries! Please keep the colors to a minimum so I can avoid expensive printing.

Thanks so much for these tremendous designs. I'm starting to be concerned that the "diamond" concept might lead folks to believe that I'm selling jewelry rather than real estate. Could I see some designs where the diamond is still an element but less prominent? For example, make the door more prominent and the diamond less so in #38 (could you also make the name darker?)? I want my audience to have some idea that it's real estate and not jewelry. Thank you so much for all of your outstanding creativity, diligence, and professionalism!
