It looks pretty good at first glance. Before I comment much I would like to see a few other ideas.

I don't know if I will like it or not but can I see a design similar to #1 but without the hat?

#42 and #43 removing hat, also as stand alone icon

I like it. I like the one with the hat also, but I am more interested in that as an alternate version/pose.

Actually, can I see a more basic version of #42 without the house and chalkboard, maybe waving to the viewer?

I like them, but I think I still prefer #42 for my main logo. Ultimately I am probably going to want additional poses anyway, but we can talk about that after the contest ends.

Ok. You are going to be the winner here. Before I wrap it up I would like to try one or two more things though.

I asked before to see what #42 looks like without anything in its hands. That didn't work. However, I would like to reserve the chart for one of the alternate poses. How about seeing if it works to have him holding the house but not the chalkboard?

Actually. If you could take #42 but make him standing like he is in #1 then that would be great!
