Very interesting...this will go into the mix. I like the clipboard motif

I've stylized the letter "R" a wee bit and can be applied to any layouts

Hi,
I like the alternate layout in #142, it seems more cohesive in that arrangement. I read your note about submitting later to avoid having your design copied. That's probably a sad reality with this site.

I like that you showed an option in 141 with no slogan (we're still kicking that one around). I'm not sure about the little triangles. A small detail, but while I like the idea of providing separation to highlight the 4 "steps" the triangles are a little distracting. Any other ideas to accomplish the same end?

Just to let you know, you and another designer are both working on revisions, and with an hour left (and I have to head out to an appointment...blah blah blah), I extended the contest by 2 days (the minimum I could do). I am sensitive to the concerns you mentioned above, so I'm keeping an eye on derivative concepts. I just wanted to make sure that I had enough time to give feedback to the designs I am trying to decide between and for them to respond (if they can/want to). Just a heads up.

Hi extending is good idea due to time zones...

we need the mark to have a standalone identity one the embellishes the over all concept without requiring text that is what makes great logo over a mediocre design

new design.

.I'm holding off on the clipboard....the expected design icons for this contest are paper, shorts, running people, folders, clipboards etc...

this mark is about creating a dynamic identity just be using RB...the design is easy to layout for different media types such Tee's. A Tee version would have the large brand icon with small text below. I've done a test mock up on a Tee and it looks solid.

The variations and your comments are very helpful. I agree that it needs to stand alone as a mark. I liked the idea of the clipboard, even if it is expected, I don't mind if it is well executed, as the general public needs to process it and not only the the folks "in the know." I think that 156 looks very good. I'm concerned that the b&w version in 157 is a little hard to make out the R, but I need to look at it a bit more.

Thank you again for your thoughts as well as your efforts.

clipboard update of the 2 design styles though different I do prefer this over the because the clipboard does say briefing becasue of this component

For someone who just submitted today, that's a pretty prolific output. I wasn't clear, but in your comments are you saying that you prefer 158 with the clipboard to the concept shown in 156? I like both ideas, but was trying to understand your stance.

#56 update...I know you have the concern about black and white so I've opened up the white space a wee bit..also my suggestion is we leave the R intact and not remove the knockout

I think I like the treatment in 179 better. Can I see it with the slogan treatment from 180? Without the red bar...it's a little too much.

Thanks

Can I see 191 where the slogan isn't in knockout, but like the slogan in 180?

Can you show me two other color options. An Orange/Gray combo and a blue/gray combo of some sort. I'll leave the exact colors up to you, but just to compare the brighter colors you've selected with something a bit quieter.

Thank you.
