Hi there!

Whenever I hear that a logo needs to have a "personal feel" and that it should convey some sense of soul, or purpose...I always visualize seeing a hand-written, script font used for its text. Such is the case with this design. :) Nothing compares to hand-written type for conveyance of a personal touch.

And, I get the impression from your brief...that your company is all about having a personal touch. :)

Add to that...the fact that your description mentions Purpose-Centered Selling means connecting at the "heart level", and I had to create a "superstar" that had heart! :) A shining, successful, heart-centered superstar!

:)

Hope you enjoy my interpretation of your brand identity needs.

I am a professional freelance designer, with over 13 years experience. If you have any further requests or needs, feel free to let me know your thoughts. I'll be happy to accommodate.

Have a great night!

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for your entry. I like it. Would you please try this design using my MYMC logo (I uploaded it again, it's the logo that kind of looks like a bird...). Thank you.

Glad you like it. Would you like me to use the font in the MYMC logo? If I use the icon in your MYMC logo, though....well, if you're looking for an icon that doesn't say "slick" then, with all due respect, you probably shouldn't use an icon that visually says "I have a slick surface." The principle is called "Visual Literalism" -- what the graphics say through visual language. What is said is said through the objects, colors, and textures used in it.

Let me know if what you're asking me to do is use your type with my icon I've submitted. Otherwise, I'd recommend against using your MYMC icon with a concept that is attempting to say "we're not slick", as the icon is all about being slick. Hope you understand where I'm coming from. Take care. -Jennifer1

OOh, meant to mention one other visual principle you may not be aware of. It's called "Shrinkability." Meaning, whatever text or graphic elements are present in your logo at large sizes needs to be readable/not lose detail when shrunk down.

I noticed you mentioned you'd be using this design/icon in social media. Don't know if you intend on using the tag line, but...well, if you can't read something without squinting at this size on the screen, it'll be nearly impossible when made smaller for handheld devices (iphones, etc.). Hope you don't mind I'm speaking about these things to you, but I feel its necessary for every client to know, especially clients who are using their designs across platforms. Even on a business card, when your logo is shrunk down...or on an envelope, or on a pencil....that sort of thing even encompasses social media applications. :)

Have a good one! -Jennifer1
