Font choice can be an issue as well overly heavy font with little space between section can be a problem for example the letter S if it looks more like an 8 on screen it may not be stitchable. This is why I've used a font that is readable at any size and easily reproduced.

using red on blue or blue on red without proper contrastr will result in poor print or stitch quality.

this is why all white works best.

I nnede to chime in hear but this is only a simualtion the result will differ on the background and having these colrs in this order there is not enough contrast. Same applies to the the blue version.

This is something that shoudl be fined tuned outside of LT it shoould never be done using LT.

Whomever you slect as winner you needs to do these color changes after the contest is over. This way desinger can have direct contact either by phone or skype.

sounds good, to recap my design process for your logo is a makeover not a brand new idenity by using elements from the current design it's simply a matter of making the logo current.
