Let me update on what I've seen from the news ones that were posted.

- After seeing the use of the work IMPERIAL, lets scratch that. Do not use IMPERIAL. And the UNITED is not part of the companies name but wanted to help provide a balance. So if you'd like use it but, you are not forced to use UNITED.
- I'm looking for something more elegant and fashion orientated. Try not to use too much glare or highlights. I need it to be used on many mediums.
- The crown was meant to be a highlight not the main object, but that doesn't have to be used.
- Great creative, I don't mind something totally different that if you believe it would be interesting to see.
- Key thing is I need it to be an emblem and nothing with too many gaps...It needs to be tight.

Let me give you some examples of what I do like:

To help visualize what we do, we import persian and oriental rugs from Iran, China, India, Pakistan, Kazak areas. So we deal in a lot of trade. Think more in the sense of East India Company, The Silk Road, and the treasures from the Mediterranean or east with a Greek/Roman twist.

Looking up "persian rug" in google images will give you an example of what we sell. Also incorporating some designs from the rugs are fine as well.

Early days CH but you might need to know:

This post was used on a different competition to highlight some rules of the LT (previously posted by Dazzle - Moderator for LT)

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be chosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and desicion about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a seperate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frasturating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in chosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

Best Regards,

Kareem "

airevolt I really like #20, you used the idea of a "planet" and then added something classic to it. The intricate design adds the bold feeling

#29 is a bit off, the crown idea is not working out it seems

ongyudicandra #18 looks great too

dotwoman I like the idea of the paisley but the color choices are way to matte and bright. How about something more smooth and silky?

Great work folks!

Anyone want to do something with a 3D feel?

Hello all,

I have extented the contest for 5 more days in hopes that more people submit entries. You can see from the ones picked what I'm looking for, something solid with a feeling of a planet influence. Remember it has to represent luxury, solidity, and trust.

Thanks for all your hard work,

Navid

I wonder how would it look like to incorporate a globe and floating rugs idea. Like a magic carpet and globe together some how?
