ShnickStudios, very nice. i like the brown/goldish dachshund, but was hoping you can give me a few more variations.

can you try some different color combinations? The red and dark brown colors where the slogan is seems hard to read. It tends to blur my eyes. If you could try a few different treatments for the slogan area, that would be great too.

can you also give me one version without the slogan area. I'd like to see the dog and site name on their own.

And please update 'weiner' to 'wiener'. Thanks!

much better and easier to read. I don't like the new updated colored outlines on the plaque where to slogan is though.

can you correct the spelling of 'weiner' to 'wiener' please. I think this will shift the position of the dog slightly since the paw is used on the 'i', so I'd like to see how this will look. Thank you!

I like the dog, but dachshunds are known to have more characteristics like head straight up and chest out... can you make these updates?

Thanks for the updates D. Much appreciated. Aside from the name still needing an update, here is some feedback I've gotten. I tend to agree.

1) head needs to be slightly larger. It's not proportionate with the body.
2) the back of the neck should be a little more upright so the chest is more pronounced.
3) the forehead dips in quite a bit. The traditional dachshunds forehead is more rounded
4) ears seem a bit too forward. they should drop straight down a little more with a slight forwardness. The ears here seem a little exaggerated forward.

Do you think you can make these adjustments?

Hi D, i'm continued to be impressed. You are doing a great job and I feel like we're almost there. I think these ears are much better.

I tried looking up some images to refer to on images.google.com, but it was hard to find exactly what I want. I know this is just an image and not something exact, but I wanted to give it as much of a real feel as possible.

I found these, don't know if they help:
http://www.greatdogsite.com/resources/photos/from_owners/Dachshund-watermarked-1220976613.jpg
http://www.22dog.com/images2/Dachshund.jpg
http://www.pets911.com/breedprofile/images/breeds/large/dachshund.jpg

Here are some of my latest observations:

1) the head seems too big now. Maybe something inbetween the original and this one? The newest head reminds me of a labrador retriever or a golden retriever. I'm really trying to capture the essence of a dachshund. Part of it might be the sharp cornering of the nose to forehead area. This normally seems more fluid.

2) the chest and position of the head is much much better, but the dachshund has a " very slight" chest bone. It's not perfectly round.

3) the back of the neck seems a tad too tall and thick. Can the neck be brought down and thinned out "just a hair"?

I appreciate all your time on my requests.

This is great Deanna. I love the improvements. The head is perfectly sized.

If possible, I'd like to request two more edits.

1) I love the chest bone that was integrated into the chest, but in doing so the chest seems like it was reduced slightly. Can you bring it out just slightly more?

2) I'm torn on the border of the slogan. I'm not sure I like the 2-D/3-D look of the lines in the border. Can you give me one or two new options?

Can you also give me one additional option removing the shiney look using this same border under the area with .com. The glossiness by .com is distracting for me and pulls my eye in that direction.

Thanks, George.

I like #69 best, but #70 is interesting.

Can I see one more update please?

1) Can you shorten the height of the neck a little on #69. Dachshunds vary, but most that I see here in the states have stockier necks and the heads are not as tall. A slight modification would be nice to see, while keeping the chest and everything esle the same.

If you could also update the registered mark on the slogan to use TM (trademark), that would be great.

Also, please give me your feedback. Although I know what I personally like, I think you have a great eye for elements that a good logo should entail. Which version of your logo do you personally like best?

Hi, Here are the requested revisions... Personally; I like this version the best..... the reason being that the tagline and the surrounding box can be taken and used in other aspects, i.e. website, t-shirts, etc... the design can be shortened or lengthened; made thicker or thinner and all of the aspects would still look like they belong together...

Please let me know if you need anything else...
Thanks, D

hi deanna, do you think you can come up with a concept for me similar to fossil find? That seems fun and creative.

I love your logo, but I think it's too serious for the intended use. Your current concept is very professional. I want to express fun and humor with my company logo. See entry #105. That seems more in line with the fun and humor I'm referring to. I love that your logo gives the appearance of a professional environment, but I feel that it lacks an element i think is needed.
