Thank you for your feedback. Did you want more literal representation of the car? I didn't work in the whole car because since the logo will go on the car, I felt that it was slightly redundant and unnecessary to include a car in the logo. But the swooshes I used comes from the design of the 54 Buick you mentioned, I took inspiration from the line work on the side of the car as well as the iconic back tail light. I was trying to use something subtle from the car designs to make the logo cleaner and more simple. But since we are in the Top 5 phase, I can work on a couple of more options and upload them :) I went to Havana last year and old cars were definitely something that stood out and are an iconic part of the city's identity so I will see what I can do to portray that more in the logo. Please let me know if there is anything specific you'd like to see.
Also, I chose that font where the "H" and "a" in Havana make circles at the ends almost like the tires of a car. I will try some different variations tonight and share them with you.
